Forensic Services

Dr. Grewal is a board certified Forensic Psychiatrist.  She currently splits her time between working as a treating psychiatrist in the Colorado Department of Corrections and in private clinical and forensic work.  She has experience in and enjoys forensic work in both civil and criminal domains.  She moved to Colorado after completing her rigorous training in forensic psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio under the renowned Phillip Resnick.  For more about her training and work history, please visit her curriculum vitae here.  

"Forensic" is the term used for the application of various specialties in a legal context.  Forensic psychiatrists and psychologists work to address mental health related questions in the courtroom.  We are utilized at many points during the trial process, depending on the question being asked.  While psychologists and psychiatrists have some skills that overlap, they also can offer distinct roles in the forensic world.  Please feel free to contact us if you are not sure which specialist is best suited for your case.
